Today, I’m sharing with you five breath prayers as we walk into Mother’s Day weekend. May these simple breath prayers of gratitude, love, and healing be a blessing and a source of comfort to you.

1 – For those expressing gratitude for a mother’s love
Inhale: Thank you, Lord…
Exhale: …for the blessing she is
“Her children arise and call her blessed.” (Proverbs 31:28)
2 – For those who grieve
Inhale: Lord, You are near…
Exhale: …to the brokenhearted
“The Lord is near to the broken hearted.” (Psalm 34:18)
3 – For those needing comfort
Inhale: Comfort me, Lord…
Exhale: …as only You can
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” (Isaiah 66:13)
4 – For those who are spiritual mothers and mentors
Inhale: She nurtured in love…
Exhale: …bless her deeply
“But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children.” (1 Thessalonians 2:7)
5 – For those who are mother-figures
Inhale: Thank you, Lord…
Exhale: …for her wise love
“Older women… teach what is good.” (Titus 2:3-5)
